What a pleasure it was to capture another sweet family in my hometown of Del Mar, and at a favorite local location – the Sunset Seat. What started as a mother’s desire to photograph the bond she has with her daughter, grew to – “well, let’s do a family session too!” Gosh, I love my job so much! Once again, I am one lucky gal to have this as my “job”. The other day, I photographed one of my favorite growing families. Meet baby Ryder, who was just six days old in these images. I have had the privilege of capturing the Tussy family during their first pregnancy and now birth of both their beautiful baby boys. I was so incredible honored to have captured the peaceful, at-home birth of Rhodes. After an intense, unmedicated labor by this fierce momma, baby Rhodes was born in the early hours of Election Day morning (Nov 2020). No doubt, he will move mountains.
