Meet Evan + Lindsey! I had the privilege of photographing this sweet couple’s engagement session not long ago and we had such a blast together.  They are the best of friends, have amazing chemistry and are the type of couple that is up-for-anything… which I love!  For their engagement session, we cruised around to a few locations in downtown San Diego, starting at one of their favorite restaurants – The Ironside Fish & Oyster Bar.  I mean what better way to kick off your photoshoot than with a few cocktails and oysters, and of course a kiss (or two) from the person that you love the most on this planet, right?  Beyond being simply gorgeous on the inside-and-out, I have to say that Evan and Lindsey nailed the “look” of their engagement session.  I tend to suggest some wardrobe ideas, but the bride-to-be (and groom) have to bring their own “flair” of course.. which they did!  Lindsey did her make-up and hair trial that turned out stunning – she was glowing.  And I am still not over her gold sequin skirt and black leather dress.  Loved our time together you two! Thanks for bringing it!

Yay! Doug + Lisa tie-the-knot! What an honor to be able to photograph their sweet wedding in San Diego. It all took place close to l-o-v-e day (Valentines), so appropriately the blush & cream colors in the flowers and decor by Mae Chan Floral were accented with a sizzling punch of red. Here are a handful of images from Doug + Lisa’s Wedding Day.  He loves Lisa’s child-like innocence and her adorable personality.  She loves that Doug lives vibrantly and with purpose.  Together, with God as the center, they are sure to have a lifetime of love, sweet love.  Thanks for letting me capture your special day you two!

Say hello to Cullen + Allie, aka “Badger” (as Cullen fondly refers to her).  I finally got to meet these two Texan sweethearts in person while they were out in San Diego planning the details for their August wedding.  They were busy busy, but were able to squeeze in a “mini” engagement session with me.  I will take whatever I can get, as I certainly wanted to get to know this adorable couple before their big wedding day!  And they, I hope, were able to warm up in front of the camera and just be authentically… them!  Some of my favorite moments during their engagement photoshoot: I so loved how playful these two are together; from Cullen sweeping Allie off her feet, then into a dip,  Allie’s killer dance moves… and those hot red pants against the rustic background.  Great style! Here are a handful of images from their San Diego Engagement Session that took place in La Jolla.  I am excited for your summer wedding Cullen + Allie!

I loved my family photography session with the Ferguson’s and their precious baby girl, Lillian Brooks (6 months at the time).  Such a joyful baby!  I didn’t have to pull out any tricks to get the most genuine smiles and giggles from her.  And what a fun surprise that Lillian’s daddy, who serves in our military, was able to join us for the photo session  – as well as Lillian’s grandmother.  It made for pictures that, I hope, will be that much more special to this family in the years to come.  Enjoy some of the highlights from their family photo shoot.

Sweet baby Kyla was such a joy to photograph for the front cover of Fairbanks Living Magazine.  While there, we snuck some pictures of she and her pretty mommy together, as moments like these are priceless and should be photographed as much as possible.

Here’s a picture of the front cover. Isn’t she the cutest? Not many babies will sit and smile at just 6 months of age!

And here are a few of my favorite images from our photo session together, including the image that was selected for the front cover. I have to say that I’m always partial to the high resolution image!
