The Krauss Family: Torrey Pines Photoshoot

I was approached by three sisters who wanted to surprise their parents with a family photo session to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. What better time to get the gang back together, right? I just love that they did this for them. The family has a favorite San Diego spot for hiking and hanging out together (happens to be one of mine too!), so we went to Torrey Pines State Park for their photoshoot. Here’s to many more years and memories together, Rosemary & James! Your daughters are the coolest.

Doug + Lisa: San Diego Engagement

Doug + Lisa are such a special couple. I have had the privilege of getting to know them at Seacoast Community Church, where we all attend. They would say that their relationship is a “narrative greater than their own personal story, and a vehicle by which God can use them to bless the lives of others”. Lisa loves that Doug lives and loves vibrantly and with purpose. Doug loves Lisa’s adorable personality and beauty, among many other things! Together, they enjoy the outdoors and taking walks on the beach, so we made sure to hit up some of their favorite spots during their San Diego engagement session. Checkout the colors during sunset at La Jolla Shores – absolutely stunning! We really lucked out! More to come soon on Doug + Lisa, as I have their wedding images to share soon.

The Beason Family: San Diego Mini Session

It’s been such a privilege to photograph this beautiful family for the past few years. I especially love my time with “Little Miss Kate” (as I call fondly her). She is one spunky, adorable little girl! You wouldn’t know for a minute that she had the sniffles and her poor parents got very little sleep the night before their family photo session. They all rallied and we had a fun time together. Thanks for joining me again this year for a mini session, Lauren, Dustin & Little Miss Kate! And thanks for sending me your holiday card! The Chan Family: San Diego Family Photography

I love this time of year when I get to photograph some of my favorite families! I have had the privilege of photographing the “Chan Clan” for the past three years, and they are a special family – so full of love and joy! The kids are all close in age (15, 13, 12 & 11), and a few months ago they gave up watching TV so that the family can spend more intentional quality time together. How cool is that? For their family photoshoot this year, we walked around the grounds of their lovely neighborhood. Here are a couple of pics from our time together. Merry Christmas Chans!

San Diego Family Photographer: The Hart Family

What a blessing it is to meet a wonderful family, like the Harts, at church, then (a few years later) to have the privilege of capturing some sweet family moments of them together. This family photoshoot took place around San Dieguito park and kicked-off the busy holiday season as being my first “mini session”. It’s pretty amazing how many images we were able to capture in our short time together. Their kiddos, Avery & Ethan, were such a joy to work with, as they brought a whole lotta fun to the photoshoot! Sweet Avery wants to be just like her pretty mommy when she grows up. And Ethan is just one cool kid, who loves being a playful, active boy. Here are just a handful of images from our time together.
