Lebsock Family, Family Vacation Photography in San Diego

What fun it was to photograph the Lebsock family while they were in San Diego on vacation. I think it’s such good idea to capture your family memories in this way, while everyone is relaxed and having fun together in a beautiful location. The Lebsocks chose the beach in La Jolla for their family photography session, and it was a hit. The kids loved running around and playing by the ocean. Who doesn’t right? It’s fun for me too, especially with a camera in hand. Man, I love my job. Thanks Lebsock Family – what a joy it was to meet all of you!

Claire + Aaron’s Wedding, The Rancho Bernardo Inn

Claire + Aaron had a beautiful summer wedding at one of my personal favorite venues, The Rancho Bernardo Inn. So much so, it’s where I tied the knot a few years ago! What a joy to photograph their wedding day at this special, soulful, place. The design of the wedding was in-keeping with the natural character of the Inn – rustic and elegant. I just love the sweetness of the flowers, by Nancy Stevens, in blush and ivory, with hints of metallics in the candles and decor. And their wedding coordinator, Gina Hundley, did an impeccable job orchestrating a flawless and beautiful wedding.

The bride-and-groom are such a perfect pair together. Claire loves that she is always learning new things about Aaron, even after 4 1/2 years together. He puts her first in everything, and they love to laugh together. Aaron adores his beautiful bride and all the fun things she plans for them. On a day off, they enjoy exploring together. They will usually end up at a museum or a cool historic site around town, and they top the day off at a local brewery. Not bad!

Keep having fun together you guys. And thank you for letting me capture the love that you have for one another!

Brooke + Michael’s Wedding, The Catamaran Resort San Diego

What a lovely summer beach wedding that Brooke + Michael had at the Catamaran Resort in San Diego. These two have such a complete feeling of comfort, love and openness with one another – it all flows so naturally when they are together, as did their wedding day… it flowed naturally and was a joy to photograph. They mentioned that this feeling of comfort is what reassures them that they are truly meant to be together. (I just love that! I relate with my hubby too!)

Brooke loves Michael’s sense of humor, his “get things done” attitude, and his ability to openly love her like she needs to be loved. And every time Michael hears Brooke’s laugh, or sees her gorgeous smile, it gives him the same feeling of when he first fell in love with her. He is one smitten man!

A special shout-out to Michael’s Flower Girl, who designed the bright, tropical flowers – just perfect for the ambiance at the Catamaran. The cake, by Edelweiss Bakery, which happens to be one of my very favorite places to indulge. And, DJ Dennis Jones, who kept the beat going and the dance floor active for a night of fun – a must for great pictures!

Family & Newborn Lifestyle Photography: The Calderons

The Calderon Family recently welcomed another boy to their clan – meet sweet baby, Sebastian. Look at his gorgeous full head of hair already! I loved this family & newborn lifestyle session, as I had the privilege of going into their home to capture them just hanging out together and being cute-and-cuddly. Plus, being able to capture the (perhaps rare) but sweet moments with baby and his big brother, 2 year old, Mateo. Yay, we got a kiss out of Mateo! Kylie + Jake’s Wedding, Bates Nut Farm

Kylie + Jake are high school sweethearts, who just ooze love for one another from the depth of their soul. It was inspiring to witness, and such a joy to photograph their wedding day! Kylie loves that Jake gives everything in life his all. She digs his “foxy” look, and his silly dances moves crack her up (as you might notice in the images). Jake loves that Kylie sees the good in everyone, she is super-duper organized, and he feels so very lucky that she choose him out of all the guys on this planet. Cute, eh? They’ve been together for six years and tied the knot on May 31st at Bates Nut Farm. This rustic, romantic setting fits their style perfectly, and get this… every, single, beautiful detail was hand-crafted by the talented Kylie, including her flowers. DYI-ers, eat your heart out! (Props to Cara, at Luxe Events, for executing on this amazing design and all the details so that Kylie & Jake could enjoy every moment of their wedding day.)
