Greg + Jessica met at an improve comedy class at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In a roundabout way, she asked him out. She’s a girl who knows what she wants, and I love it! That was a very good call, because now they will share life together as husband and wife. Just a few days ago, they had the most incredible black tie wedding at the San Diego Museum of Art, in Balboa Park. Here are some early sneak peeks!
Cara North at Luxe Events helped to execute the perfect event. Mae Chan designed the lovely florals that adored the space with decor form Concept Event Design and Crown Rentals; and all the catering was done by Root Cellar Catering. The cake was hand-delivered from a bakery in Los Angeles called Elizabethan Desserts, and was topped with a special family heirloom.
Their heartfelt first look was one of my favorite parts of their wedding day, as Greg could hardly contain his emotions when he saw his beautiful bride, Jessica. (As you will see in the images.) Flora Ngai had the bride looking especially fabulous (her hair, wow!), and with a custom made dress by L’Ezu in Los Angeles – it’s no wonder why. My other favorite moment of their day: the mother/daughter dance, that turned into the DJ (Danny Aon) inviting all the mothers-and-daughters to join them on the dance floor. I had to hold back the tears! Such a sweet moment.
I am so grateful that you allowed me to capture your love story you two. Wishing you many blessings. Welcome to the married club!
