It was so great to see the Hamilton Family again for their Holiday Mini Session Photoshoot. Don’t they have the most beautiful children? Those blue eyes and bright smiles! I loved their outfits for this photoshoot, as it really brought everything together so nicely – the jean dresses on the girls and navy plaid on the boys. Well dressed family! Here are some of the Hamilton’s Holiday Mini Session Photos!
Well, seeing that it’s now April 2016 (say whaaat!) I guess it’s about time that I finish highlighting my photography session from 2015. Staying timely with blogging is not my forte these days, apparently. Here is the Wang & Ho Family, who had a family photography session in San Diego at one of my favorite spots for the rustic & country vibe. I have had the privilege of photographing them for two years in a row – they are simply awesome! Such love for one another, and all smiles! How adorable is the newest family member? That hair! Thanks to the coordination of my friend, Kristine (the pretty momma of three), I would say that they nailed the “What to wear to a family photoshoot” question, wouldn’t you? Here are some highlights from their photography session.
For the past three years, I have had the privilege of photographing the Chan Family for their Christmas cards, or the “Chan Clan” as I fondly refer to them. It’s always such a joy to be with them. They kids (can I still call them that in high school?) are so loving to one another, and a dream to photograph. This year we had a little *incident* that could have caused us to postpone the photoshoot. We were reprimanded by an intense ranger and asked to leave Torrey Pines Beach because we brought their adorable dog “Gina” (it’s off season!). The sun was 15 minutes away from setting, and rather than panic, the family handled the situation with such grace. It was a true testament to their awesome character. We rushed across town to Del Mar Beach, which is a tab more dog friendly, and just in time for a pretty winter sunset. It really turned out better than we expected, thankfully! Here are a handful of images from our Del Mar Beach Family Photography Session together. Gina, you are worth it girl!
Meet Hunter. One cool gal who recently had a big milestone that she reached: graduating from High School! Whoop, whoop! Definitely something to be celebrated as it’s hard work, right? We had her photo session awhile back, and here are a handful of images that stood out to me from her Senior Portrait Session. Best of luck to you – the future is bright!
More-and-more I have been photographing senior portraits, and I have to say, I am really loving it! It is fun to capture this life stage, where these young adults are starting to really embrace their life, discovering who they are and where they can use their gifting to contribute. And some, like Emily, are dreaming big.
Emily wanted something a bit different for her senior pictures, so we headed to a local spot in Solana Beach with an eclectic, arty-vibe: Cedros Avenue. I believe it was a good fit and represented the different dimensions of her personality. She was a dream to photograph. As she just casually stood there, with an effortless smile and twisting the end of her pretty blonde hair, I realize… Emily is a cool cat. She is well-rounded, with a calm, sweet demeanor. She is also on a competitive debate team, winning awards, and is, well… incredibly smart.
Emily, I look forward to hearing about all the great things you will accomplish in this life!
